“Lost Touch” is the lead single from DFRNTFRM’s forthcoming album titled Pareidolia. Nearly a decade since their last collaboration, DFRNTFRM (like Different Form) and Skitzo Productions have reconnected to create some of their best work to date. Skitzo provides a deep, morose vibe for DFRNTFRM to craft his self-examination of losing touch with music and his motivations for revitalizing that misplaced relationship. In the song’s final lines, “A grand spitter celebrating all his faults/ The transmitter out to generate a greater pulse,” DFRNTFRM displays the ability to posture as an emcee while simultaneously expressing his vulnerabilities and he will continue to convey his message over beats.
